Portraits by Nataliya Pryzant

3 kids by Pryzant

Nataliya Pryzant is a local artist, originally from Ukraine. She studied art in Kiev Academy of Art and has traveled extensively throughout the world exhibiting at various art shows.

Nataliya has a broad variety of interests; she loves to explore new techniques and medias. You can see her in her studio painting, sculpturing, making stained glass panels, carving stones, making prints and much more. Although this exhibition is just one facet of her artistic personality, it is her favorite one. She likes to look inside of the person she is drawing and trying to figure out about his/hers life and character. She loves to draw ingenuous, natural, joyful faces of the youth and wise and beaten with life older people. She sees beauty in everything and everyone and brings it to us in form of her paintings.

About the art in this exhibit:
The small portraits grouped by four are the portraits of the kids attending or who have attended Nataliya's art studio; they are done in different techniques and art medias, such as oil painting, air brush, acrylics, water colors, color pencils, oil pastel, soft pastel, silk painting and tempera. The siblings' portraits are copies from original done in oil and the two big portraits are done with air brush.  Look at the samples of her other artworks at www.natka.net/gallery/  and specifically portraits at www.natka.net/portraits. If you want to order your own portrait or a portrait of your kid performed in any style or art media or interested in taking art classes contact Nataliya at pryzant@gmail.com or call: 734.528.4620.
